Best player fits at every position from the 2024 NFL Draft | PFF
Darren Waller still hasn’t decided if he is going to retire or come back for another year, but even with Waller, I am excited to see how the Giants utilize fourth-round rookie tight end Theo Johnson. The 6-foot-6, 260-pound tight end ranked in the 90th percentile in basically every category – 40-yard dash, 10-yard split, vertical jump and broad jump. He is a very impressive athlete for his size and position. Even if Waller is still in the picture, Johnson is a vertical and seam threat who could be a big addition to the Giants’ offense in terms of added explosiveness. Even if his workload is limited, his handful of catches could be very impactful because of that mismatch potential.

How Giants’ Theo Johnson’s family was rescued from violent home | New York Post
Today, Theo Johnson, 23, is the Giants’ 6-foot-6, 259-pound rookie tight end who was drafted in the fourth round and could play a big role if Darren Waller retires as expected. But there was a time when Theo was a 7-year-old survivor of abuse in need of a hero. He celebrated that hero on Mother’s Day.

That unique combination of rushing potential, receiving skill and athleticism gives Tracy the rare potential to be a playmaker right out of the gates for Big Blue. If Tracy has a strong camp, he could put himself in the discussion for more than a couple of home run shots each week early. But it’ll likely be another year or two before he’s ready for a leading role in the Big Apple.
Ex-Giants RB Brandon Jacobs talks Saquon Barkley, Malik Nabers | New York Daily News
Brandon Jacobs still looks like the imposing freight train of a running back that no one wanted to tackle from 2005 through 2013 on the way to two Giants Super Bowls.

Bending it like Beckham: Malik Nabers should be Giants’ best WR since Odell | FOX Sports
The Giants have tried and failed for years to find a true, No. 1 receiver to replace Beckham. They’ve failed in free agency, the draft, and even in their attempts to develop their own. But they think the 6-foot, 200-pound Nabers is a can’t-miss kid, with the ability to revive their dormant offense and maybe even rescue their franchise quarterback. To them, he’s more than just the next in the long line of great receivers to come out of LSU.

Nabers gives the Giants the type of receiver who, like peak-Beckham, can create a big play from anywhere on the field. He can take a slant to the house or use his speed to win deep down the field. Nabers spent half of his snaps in the slot last season, which continues a trend of the Giants loading up on slot-first players. However, Nabers’ 78th-percentile success rate against press coverage, per Reception Perception, makes a good case that he can live — and thrive — on the outside.

Connor Hughes on one of the key coaching subplots heading into 2025: Who will call plays this year?
I talked to a handful of people at the Senior Bowl and came away feeling like the Giants preferred Mike Kafka call the plays so Daboll could continue overseeing the operation. Fast forward to the NFL’s annual meeting and Daboll sang a very, very different tune.
Daboll usually relishes the opportunity to say nothing when recorders and cameras are in his face. The subject of play-calling snapped him out of that real quick. Daboll sounded very much like a man who wants to, and expects to, run the offense this coming season.
