The Rams signed first round pick Jared Verse, their final to-do on the 2024 draft class
The Los Angeles Rams signed first-round pick Jared Verse on Tuesday, making him the final piece to getting every 2024 draft pick under contract. The Rams now have their entire 2024 draft class signed, an indication that the 2011 CBA has at least been a rousing success in one area: In the past 14 offseasons, we have had hardly any rookie holdouts.
That’s thanks to the rookie wage scale that the NFLPA agreed to in 2011 and it pays Jared Verse a four-year, $15.134 million contract with a $7.826 million signing bonus.
Question: What would YOU do with $7.8 million? Tell us in the comments.
#Rams signed first-round pick Jared Verse to $15.134 million contract guaranteed includes $7.826 million signing bonus, plus no offset language on all guarantees, fully guaranteed roster bonuses for training camp reporting $522,925, $1.095 million, $682,510 2025-2027 per a league…

Verse will be reunited with college teammate Braden Fiske and give the Rams two former Florida State products and transfers to build their front-seven and defensive line around for at least four years. That is, if all works out as planned.
At least they are now under contract and ready for the mandatory minicamps on the horizon.
