The Aaron Rodgers saga continues
Weeks back, the New York Jets experienced a mild public relations issue when it was seemingly suddenly announced that quarterback Aaron Rodgers would be fined for missing practice. While the Jets softened this news by stating that it was an absence they were previously informed of, this did little to quell the national and local media from talking about the issue. Beyond that, the question of where exactly Aaron Rodgers was lingered, which further fueled speculation.
After a few weeks, we finally have the answer to that question though. It turns out that Aaron Rodgers was visiting Egypt.

Rodgers had previously expressed a desire to travel there, which may help explain why this trip was so important to him.

In the end, the Jets season will be defined by many moments. This one is unlikely to be one of them. Fingers crossed that months later fans will look back on this as a funny footnote in the story of how the Jets marched their way straight to the Lombardi Trophy.
