Microsoft confirmed today that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be available on the Game Pass subscription service when it’s released. It was stated that it’ll be available on both Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass, which means that PC players and console players will be able to take advantage of the offer.

On an Xbox Wire post, it was confirmed that Black Ops 6 is coming to Game Pass when it’s released – assumedly in October. The post simply read:

‘We’re excited to confirm that Game Pass members will be able to jump into Call of Duty®: Black Ops 6 on day one with Game Pass.’

Earlier today, Activision released a live-action reveal trailer for Black Ops 6, once again mentioning the upcoming showcase due to take place on June 9. In this short trailer, there are references to the Gulf War, including an appearance by Saddam Hussein. That’s been touted as a bold move by Activision Blizzard’s team, pulling in a real-world identity to potentially serve as a ‘big bad’ in a new Call of Duty game.

It’s a touchy enough subject without Activision Blizzard’s studios trying to rewrite history, so it’ll be interesting to see how they handle the topic of the first war in Iraq.
