The teams will be playing for a huge $2 million dollar prize pool, more than double that of the recent R6 Manchester Major. The qualifiers for R6 are entirely online and teams such as beastcoast, that have hoisted trophies aren’t necessarily guaranteed to make an appearance in Riyadh.

With online qualifiers currently ongoing, there are plenty of heavy hitters that could make this stacked prize pool an equally stacked tournament.

Fan favorite teams like M80, DarkZero Esports and the newly partnered C9 | Beastcoast all vying for those top 3 qualifier positions and their shot at club points. After the qualifiers, fans are going to need to wait a couple of weeks for the actual tournament to kick off. The likes of Dota 2 and League of Legends are already ongoing but Rainbow 6 won’t start until July 31st.

Over in Europe, G2 will be looking to redeem themselves after a devastating 19th-20th place finish at the Manchester Major. There’s everything to play for in Riyadh!
