Despite going up against two do-or-die championship games, hot storylines continued to generate great numbers for WWE Raw.

According to Wrestlenomics, this week’s Raw averaged 1,814,000 viewers per hour and did a 0.61 rating among 18-49 year olds. Those are, respectively, 3% and 11% week-to-week increases. They also equal the show’s best numbers since the Raw After WrestleMania.

The hourly breakdown from Programming Insider shows that the bulk of the audience stuck around all night, which makes sense considering the way one of Liv Morgan/Judgment Day saga was threaded throughout the episode. Raw’s numbers peaked in hour two, which isn’t unusual this time of year, but in this case is also indicative of the Wyatt Sicks angle grabbing the audience’s attention.

Hour 1 – 1.80 million viewers / .60 demo rating
Hour 2 – 1.94 / .66
Hour 3 – 1.70 / .57

As mentioned above, Raw did these numbers despite there being some compelling options opposite them — especially for sports fans. The Edmonton Oilers bid for history against the Florida Panthers in the NHL Stanley Cup Finals, but the Panthers Game 7 win was one of th most watched hockey games in decades. That per SportsMediaWatch, which had the game with 7.66 million viewers and a 3.7 demo rating on ABC.

At the same time, NBC’s coverage of the U.S. Olympic trials had more than 4 million watching on NBC, with a .51 in 18-49. And over on ESPN, the deciding game in the College World Series did a .68 rating off 3.2 million viewers (Raw finished second to Tennessee’s victory over Texas A&M on cable Monday night).

There’s no reason to believe the WWE’s ratings train is about to slow down, at least not until the Olympics start at the end of July. We’ll see if that’s the case. Until we do, here’s a rundown of the past year’s worth of numbers for Raw:
