In a 3-part series on Matthew Stafford, The QB School talks the highs and lows for Rams QB

Nobody is certain how much longer Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford will play in the NFL, but the Super Bowl champion signal caller is still one of the best at the position in the game today. Stafford’s numbers in 2023 were probably only “above average” for his career, but the two-time Pro Bowler can still throw the ball as well as any player in the league right now.

And that was apparent in last week’s three-part series on Stafford by The QB School’s J.T. O’Sullivan.

In part I, The QB School highlights Stafford’s “world class anticipation” on throws to Puka Nacua and Demarcus Robinson against the Cleveland Browns. It was a pivotal win for L.A., upending the top-ranked defense in the NFL last season.

Stafford finished the day with 279 yards and three touchdowns, but did have at least a couple of throws he’d like back.

In part II, O’Sullivan goes right to the next week and another top-ranked defense, the Baltimore Ravens.

This one was a Rams loss, but L.A. played better against Baltimore’s defense than any team last season.

Stafford had another 294 yards and another three touchdowns. In fact, between Week 13-16, Stafford had 10 touchdowns and no interceptions.

That streak came to an end in Week 17 against the Giants, as Stafford had two interceptions. But the Rams won 26-25 and Stafford had 317 yards. This concludes the best 2+ hours of Matthew Stafford film study that you can find today:

As Stafford prepares for his 16th NFL season, there’s no question he still has the talent to win another Super Bowl with the right supporting cast. The only question is, can he cut down on his regrettable moments and be a more efficient passer towards the end of his career?
