Although he lost the training set 3-6, the Serb who was questioned by the media on the spot to find out if his name would indeed be present tomorrow in the list of players in contention for the draw replied with a ” I feel good and fit ” All accompanied by a wide smile and with thumbs in the air sign that he intends to give himself a chance in London and that he feels that his level is good enough to be able to claim the title in a few hours.

The Serbian will have the opportunity to conserve valuable energy in view of more complicated challenges, such as an eighth-final against Holger Rune (if he doesn’t stumble before) and a very complicated fourth against the Polish Hubert Hurkacz.

In the semifinals many rivals to keep an eye on: Rublev, Tsitsipas and Zverev will have to be very careful about the loose mines present, which could give the real surpluses of the event.

During a long interview with ESPN, Patrick McEnroe talked about Nole: “I would still lean towards the two younger guys. I think they’ve both gotten over the hump as far as winning majors. It would be interesting if Djokovic could get through a round or two and looks like he’s the Djokovic we’ve come to know at Wimbledon and go for that eighth title.”
