The Alex Pereira train cannot be stopped.
Despite stepping into action on just two weeks’ notice, Pereira blitzed through Jiri Prochazka once again on Saturday in the main event of UFC 303, knocking out the ex-champ with a brutal second-round head kick to successfully defend his UFC light heavyweight title. Adding yet another massive accolade to an already Hall of Fame résumé, Pereira has now won eight of his nine UFC bouts and beaten a current or former champion in six of them.
