The Basque player, who leads Team Legion XIII in the LIV Golf, emphasized the format’s ability to engage fans, who can rally behind and support an entire team rather than focusing solely on an individual player. Rahm believes that this dynamic could rejuvenate golf in Spain, appealing to a broader audience, especially those who closely follow team sports.

Rahm also praised the return of elite golf to Valderrama, highlighting its historical significance and potential to become a gathering point for the Spanish audience. In addition to the competition, Rahm confessed his desire to return home and enjoy the company of his family, as well as the delicious Spanish cuisine he longs for.

With the LIV Golf Andalucía scheduled to take place at Valderrama from July 12th to 14th, Rahm joins a stellar lineup of confirmed golfers, including Sergio García, Brooks Koepka, Bryson DeChambeau, Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, Cameron Smith, and Patrick Reed. Rahm’s presence, along with other top names, promises an exciting event that is sure to captivate fans worldwide.
