Rainbow Six Siege EU T2 Roadmap Revealed for 2024 – 2025

on

Ubisoft has just revealed the roadmap for the Rainbow Six Siege T2 scene through 2024 and 2025 in Europe. Three tournaments were outlined at the heart of this new and upgraded ecosystem, which has been both slimmed down and boosted year-on-year. Before March 2025, three tournaments will be played: Central Combine, South Breach, and North Rainbow Rumble. It was announced that BLAST R6 EUL rosters will not be competing in these tournaments, giving other teams a chance to shine this year.

In recent years, Siege’s T2 scene has blown up, often playing as the proving ground for players making it to the big leagues. On the Ubisoft site, a statement was published outlining the immediate road ahead, breaking down the Central Combine tournament, which is set to be the first of the trio to be played. It’ll be followed by the South Breach tournament in November and December, before the North Rainbow Rumble surfaces in January 2025.

This time around, competitors can look forward to an ultimate final event. In March 2025, the T2 teams that top their respective competitions will be invited to a central event that will effectively crown the champion of champions. That event boasts a prize pool worth €15,000.

First up is the Central Combine, though.

Ubisoft revealed that the tournament has been slimmed down considerably this year. Instead of 24 teams competing, only 16 will make it through to the second phase of the event, and the qualification process has also been cut down substantially. However, in a positive turn of events, Ubisoft then announced that the final stage of the Central Combine will take place in Cologne during the week of Gamescom.

This portion of the trio of tournaments will feature a €20,000 prize pool and will play out over four phases. It was further confirmed that both the South Breach tournament and the North Rainbow Rumble will feature a similar structure, both in terms of the qualifying process and the prize pool.

Last season, the North Rainbow Rumble was won by WYLDE, the Central Combine by MNM Gaming, and South Breach by Team Valor. With this shake-up removing BLAST teams from the qualification process, it’ll be interesting to see which power players surface this season.

It’ll be a spectacle to watch – Rainbow Six is coming up in Europe. The recent BLAST R6 Manchester Major was proof of that.
