Rumor Roundup: Vince McMahon investigation, Ricochet plans, TNA morale, more!

Rumors for the Day:

• During a Q&A on Fightful Select, Sean Ross Sapp said that “people in WWE” aren’t worried about how the company will fare in the federal investigation related to the Janel Grant lawsuit, but “they expect things to be found about Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis”.
• Sapp also said that talent “feels rid of” McMahon and Laurinaitis, unlike when Vince stepped down during the board’s investigation into his 2022 hush money scandal.
• Even though Ricochet is believed to be on his way to AEW after his WWE contract expired, Fightful reports his fiancee Samantha Irvin is expected to continue with WWE.
• PW Insider’s heard that morale in the TNA locker room was “very good” during last weekend’s tapings. Saturday’s show was sold out, which the company attributes to The Hardys and the WWE NXT crossover.
• TNA’s story with NXT is expected to continue at Slammiversary. PW Insider asked a WWE source about the possibility of Wes Lee reuniting with The Rascalz and was told “nothing is off the table”.
• According to another PW Insider report, WWE expects to have NBA stars Tyrese Halliburton and Jalen Brunson back on shows “when it works for each of them.”
• Donovan Dijak and Matt Camp were both backstage at Forbidden Door on Sunday, per PW Insider.
