Uncle Howdy’s group has a name, lots of merch for sale

We were warned a massacre was coming on the June 17 episode of Raw, and that’s what WWE delivered to close last night’s eventful Clash at the Castle fallout episode of their Monday night show.

As a months-long ARG (and the rumor mill) told us, the carnage was delivered by the returning Uncle Howdy and his new group, which consisted of horror movie versions of characters from the late Bray Wyatt’s Firefly Fun House. Like the QR code clues fans have been deciphering, there’s some guesswork involved in who’s wearing the Jason Baker-designed costumes…

… but early consensus is that joining Bray’s brother Taylor “Bo Dallas” Rotunda as Uncle Howdy are:

• Nikki Cross as Sister Abigail/Abby the Witch,
• Erick Rowan as Ramblin’ Rabbit
• Dexter Lumis as Mercy the Buzzard
• Joe Gacy as Huskus the Pig-Boy

There’s also a lot of online detective work being done about who the group took out in their backstage destruction. Chad Gable is clearly shown, and it seems Braun Strowman was also severely bludgeoned (possibly by the over-sized hammer the Rabbit was seen carrying, which very well could be a callback to the ones Rowan and the late Luke Harper — aka Brodie Lee — wielded during their time as The Bludgeon Brothers). Braun being a victim is especially interesting, as he’s a former Wyatt Family member who’d been rumored as a possible member of Howdy’s group.

We’ll see how WWE doles out answers to those questions and strings out the mystery of Howdy and the gang. They didn’t wait to reveal their name, or put several different pieces of merchandise for them on sale.
