Bad news for NJPW and Bullet Club, as Kenny Omega has sustained a knee injury.
Omega suffered a lateral meniscus injury on his left knee that has sidelined him for the September Road to Destruction tour. Omega posted following on Twitter:
Unfortunately, I'll have to take a short break. Hold the fort, Leo Tonga. See you in Kobe.

The tour was set to start Thursday morning , but the injury forced New Japan Pro Wrestling to replace him for the three week trip. Omega is out of action until Destruction in Kobe, where he will defend his IWGP United States Championship against Juice Robinson.
