The land of opportunity just got a whole lot more interesting. On Tuesday, SmackDown GM Daniel Bryan booked AJ Styles, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn for a triple threat title matchat Fastlane. Shane McMahon saw the stakes Bryan made and decided to raise them this morning (Feb. 8).
Two wrestlers in desperate need of a win now have a huge opportunity placed before them. McMahon took to Twitter to announce the winner of next Tuesday’s, Feb. 13, match between Dolph Ziggler and Baron Corbin will earn their way into the Fastlane title match.
An unexpected end to #SDLive with a triple threat match made for #WWEFastlane…I’m going to make a bit more interesting.
Next week: @BaronCorbinWWE vs. @HEELZiggler. The winner is added to the match and makes it a #Fatal4Way for the @WWE title.

Wow.
After walking out on the US title back in December, Ziggler returned at the 2018 Royal Rumble and was unceremoniously tossed out in less than two minutes.
The 33-year-old Corbin has been seemingly on a losing skid every since his failed Money in the Bank cash-in attempt. Corbin also lasted 60 seconds before being eliminated in this year’s Rumble match.
Fastlane takes place on Sun., Mar. 11, 2018, from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.
