TRIPLE H says WWE are open to one day bringing WrestleMania to the UK.
However, the WWE Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events and Creative pointed out that putting together big Pay-Per-View shows outside of the US is much more difficult.
British fans have called for the wrestling promotion’s biggest show of the year to be featured this side of the pond for many years.
Triple H however didn’t rule out the possibility of Mania being held outside of the US one day.
He said: “When you talk about WrestleMania and week-long series of events that is difficult to coordinate in the US, that difficulty level becomes multiplied exponentially having it internationally.
“That being said, we’re definitely looking into possibilities of a lot of things. Never say never.
“I know that fans are hungry for it, I know that fans are excited for it if it does happen and it is something that we think about in trying to figure out logistically how things would work – whether that’s one of our standard Pay-Per-Views, whether that’s one of our big four or whether it’s a WrestleMania or whether that’s something totally new.
“I think we’re open to all of it and we always say you never say never in the WWE so we’re open to all options and if it’s best for business then we would certainly be open to doing it.”
The last major Pay-Per-View to take place in the UK was SummerSlam back in 1992 when 80,000 fans packed into a sold out Wembley Stadium.
Some of the greatest ever legends competed that night, such as The Undertaker, “Macho Man” Randy Savage, Shawn Michaels and many more.
But The British Bulldog was the one who stole the show when he beat Bret Hart for the Intercontinental title.
