RONDA ROUSEY insists she has not been this happy since her wedding day as she prepares for an epic WrestleMania 34 battle.
Rousey used to appear with a serious and cold demeanour before a UFC fight but now puts on a big smile every time she walks to a WWE ring.
The UFC legend is loving life in the wrestling company and finds it difficult to contain her enthusiasm ahead of her Mixed Tag Team Match at WrestleMania where she will team up with Hall of Famer Kurt Angle to take on on-screen RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon and 14-time world champion Triple H.
The first ever UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion admits the transition has been difficult ever since her shock debut two months ago at the Royal Rumble, but she loves the new challenge.
She told Sky Sports: “It’s almost a combination of everything that I’ve done and something entirely different and unique.
“There are so many things from judo that apply to WWE, so many things from fighting that apply to WWE and there are so many things from acting and doing media and public speaking that apply.
“And there are so many things that are completely unique to the business; I still have such a vast amount to learn and it’s really rejuvenated me.
“To master something new is one of my greatest pleasures in life, rather than just sitting there doing something you already know how to do.
“I want to be mentally pushed and challenged every day and it’s hard to not be in this world and not be totally obsessed and engrossing by it.
“My body is aching all over and I’m mentally exhausted from everything I’m learning but I can’t remember the last time I was as happy as this, maybe my wedding day.”
Rousey will make her in-ring WWE debut at Mania on April 8 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
