Friday afternoon Braun Strowman tweeted a challenge to Roman Reigns. Braun wrote:

“I don’t need to surprise you to cash in #MITB. I promised to do it face to face. Face me in the middle of your “yard” on #Raw, Roman. And if you’re really a man you’ll come alone. #MonsterInTheBank”

This morning Roman Reigns responded with the following:

“You literally tried to cash in after I wrestled for 30 min last Monday, sounds like the only way u can take MY title is by surprise. Better luck next time Meat Shack. See u at 8pm at #RAW. #Toronto #B2R”

This afternoon Brie Bella announced that she and Nikki are working the Raw brand house show on Sunday in Rochester, New York.

The Miz and Maryse were interviewed by Fox News earlier in the week. They talked about parenthood and how it has changed their lives. They also talked about their reality show and touched on the breakup between John Cena and Nikki Bella.

Donald Trump wished Vince McMahon a happy birthday on Twitter last night. Trump wrote: “Happy birthday Vince, you are truly one of the greats!”

Bobby Lashley was a guest on Sam Roberts’ podcast. Lashley talked about a number of things including not being at Summerslam, his thoughts on Donald Trump, The Rock running for president, forgetting the lyrics to Rockin Robin, Brock Lesnar & Daniel Cormier, working as a heel, and more.

Sam Roberts: I’m sure literally every interview on your media tour you’re getting asked about your WrestleMania main event which featured your cornerman, now the president of the United States of America Donald Trump. I think it’s interesting that we had that conversation before you were in WWE and you said you enjoyed working with him. He was a cool dude and that was kind of that. I think it’s good that’s on the record then because it’s not like now you’re just trying to pacify, or you know, give the line because this was the same line you were given before you were here.

Bobby Lashley: Here’s the thing about me. I don’t want to say that I am the most ridiculously positive person but if you would read and look at any of my social media you’re never ever gonna see me trash-talking someone never. It’s just not me. And the reason why is…let’s go in the wrestling world. There’s gonna be a wrestler over here that so many people love him but there’s gonna be so many people that hate him at the same time. So if I hate him I’m not gonna spoil what these people love about that person.

Bobby Lashley: As far as like presidential things. I try to stay out of there because people that hate the president they’re like join on my bandwagon. Let’s just hate and hate and I’m just not about that. I just try to stay out of that. I don’t know, and we don’t know, a lot of the personal lives of presidents all the way through. It’s just that right now with social media everything is so prevalent. Everything is so thrusted at us that we were sitting there examining it. It’s one of those things where I could care less about what’s going on. The only thing that I look at are his numbers and and if if the numbers go bad then that’s when I have a problem. If the numbers are good with unemployment, stocks, and everything like that they’re fine. I’m just gonna stay out of it.

Bobby Lashley: I think right now in our society we’re at a point where things are not the way they should be. We need to tighten things up because I tell you what, when
things get in line we can bring somebody like The Rock in. Because everybody knows if The Rock runs that dude is gonna win. So if he runs then let’s not worry about anybody’s feelings right now. Let’s just do we have to do to get things in line and then after that, can we put The Rock in the oval office. He’s great with social media. We need a president that’s very active with social media and The Rock is that guy. Everybody loves him. He can do no wrong right now.

Sam Roberts: If that’s not motivation to just fix everything. So that way we can just enjoy having president The Rock. And by the way it’s not President Johnson, it’s president The Rock. If we can just fix everything and enjoy that then we’ll all be in a better spot and that’s all we need.

Bobby Lashley: Let’s just tell everybody in two years The Rock will be in office.
