On the latest episode of Talk is Jericho, the Ayatollah of Rock’N’Rolla commented on the recent injury suffered by women’s champion Becky Lynch at the hands (or should we say hand) of Nia Jax during SmackDown’s invasion of Raw this past Monday night. Jericho, admitting that these things happen in the business, believes that it still looked like a legitimate punch to the face.

Stuff happens. If you see the punch she took, oh my gosh, it didn’t look like a potato. It looked like a legitimate punch to the face. But, whatever, we’ll hold off on judgement for that.

Becky Lynch would be pulled from her Survivor Series showdown with Raw champion Ronda Rousey, and be replaced by Charlotte Flair. Current speculation is that the Rousey/Lynch matchup will still happen, potentially at WrestleMania 35’s main event.
