In a new exclusive by Wrestling Inc, Fox wants the current Raw women’s champion Ronda Rousey to move to SmackDown Live when the show premiers on the Fox network. This goes hand-in-hand with reports that stated that Smackdown will shift away from Sports Entertainment and fit more with the regular sports programming that Fox is known to broadcast. Ronda Rousey’s popularity and success as both an MMA star and a WWE star will be one of the show’s key selling points.

Fox is also pushing for UFC heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier to become a commentator for WWE, as Cormier has shown interest in the position. He had to delay his tryout due to his most recent title defense against Derrick Lewis at UFC 230.
