According to Ryan Satin of “Pro Wrestling Sheet”, Mike and Maria Kanellis have requested to be released from their WWE contracts.

According to Satin, the request came several weeks ago and was the result of ongoing unhappiness with how they have been used. Satin did not provide any information as to whether or not the WWE was willing to grant their request, but with AEW emerging as a potentially legitimate threat, one has to think that the WWE isn’t dying to let talent walk out the door.
