Many fans have been wondering why The Authors of Pain haven’t been seen on TV after such a strong push upon their debut to the Raw roster.

Dave Meltzer shed light on the situation during the most recent edition of The Wrestling Observer. According to Meltzer, the reason that AoP hasn’t been seen on TV is because Akam is dealing with some type of leg injury.

Meltzer didn’t have specific details on the nature of the injury but speculated that he is expected to miss several months. This puts Rezar in a position similar to the one Tyler Breeze has found himself in with Fandango being on the shelf. Meltzer stated that Rezar is not expected to return to TV in Akam’s absence.
