Many fans have been left puzzled by Asuka’s lack of television time over the past couple of weeks. The lack of air time has led some to question whether or not there are plans in place for her at Wrestlemania 35.
The Wrestlevotes Twitter account is reporting that the WWE does in fact have a plan for Asuka at Wrestlemania, although details of said plan or not known. Wrestlevotes noted that the reason for keeping Asuka off television was that it didn’t sense to have her on TV. The focus has been on the Rousey/Becky/Charlotte storyline and absent additional brand jumping, the only opponents left for Asuka at Elimination Chamber would have been Lana or Zelina Vega. Here is the Tweet from Wrestlevotes:
Been getting a ton of Asuka questions. As far as I know, they do have a plan for Mania. Just wasn’t wise for Asuka to be featured the last few weeks. WWE doesn’t want excessive “brand jumping” prior to WM, leaving only Lana or Vega for Chamber. That’s not a PPV matchup WWE wanted
