WWE UK competitor Amir Jordan was recently interviewed by “BBC”. During the interview, he revealed that he had recently quit his job as an investment banker in order to wrestle. He talked about how his family reacted to his decision and why he believes that he can be an inspiration to others. Here are the highlights:

On Quitting His Job To Become A Wrestler:

It was difficult but it was something that after the first training session I knew I wanted to do it again and again.

On How His Parents Reacted To His Decision:

There was quite a lot of disappointment from my parents. When he got signed with WWE that’s when the switch happened. Now, everyone is really proud of me.

On Hoping To Inspire Others:

In a place like Dewsbury [in England] if it comes across as me being a positive role model for something like that, then that can only be a good thing.
