As WrestleMania 35 approaches, where she is rumored to be competing in the main eventfor the RAW Women’s Championship in a Triple-Threat Match including Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch is feeling nostalgic.

“The Man” took to social media, where everything she posts as of late gets a ton of attention, to reflect back on a time in her career where she wasn’t overly optimistic.

Lynch posted a tweet on Sunday of a photo of herself wrestling in her NXT career, along with a caption where she describes nearly being released from WWE several years ago.

“A couple of weeks before this they were going to let me go,” wrote Lynch regarding the aforementioned NXT photo. “I’ve been fighting to survive this place since before day one.”

“The Lass Kicker” is just a few weeks away from possibly being part of the first-ever women’s WrestleMania main event, as the RAW Women’s Championship bout continues to be reported as the leading candidate to close the show at WrestleMania 35.

“I’ll never be above what I had to do to stay alive,” the Irish WWE Superstar concluded, before posting a “Happy St. Patrick’s Day” hashtag.

Featuring the Lynch vs. Rousey vs. Charlotte match for the RAW Women’s Championship, WrestleMania 35 is scheduled for Sunday, April 7th at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The show will air live via pay-per-view and on the WWE Network.
