According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, last night’s segment between Universal champion Brock Lesnar, and the number one contender Seth Rollins was changed prior to the show going on the air. Originally, Lesnar was supposed to win the brief exchange, laying out Rollins with an F-5 and standing tall ahead of their showdown this Sunday at WrestleMania. Meltzer reports that the call to swap roles was Vince McMahon’s idea, with Rollins being the one who got the better of the Beast, hitting him with a series of low-blows, before nailing him with his Stomp finisher.
