As noted, WWE has rescheduled their planned SmackDown Live non-televised live event in Corbin, Kentucky this coming Monday night to October 17th.
Following the announcement, Roman Reigns took to social media to tease an appearance on Monday night’s red brand broadcast. WWE later tweeted their own announcement claiming Reigns will not be appearing on the show.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, the decision was made over the last few days to send some of the SmackDown Superstars to Monday night’s RAW in an attempt to assist in the build up to the WWE Money In The Bank pay-per-view.
He also noted that it’s possible that last week’s significant TV ratings decline was another big factor behind the decision.
