The Revival were recently interviewed by “The Sun”. During the interview, they discussed how being at a low point creatively has impacted them, why they believe that their main roster run hasn’t gone as well as their NXT run and more. Here are the highlights:
Wilder On Their Response To The Current Creative Direction:
We work great with chips on our shoulders. We work great being a-holes. That’s just something we’ve always used to fuel us and help us get where we wanted to go. We’re on the right trajectory.
Dawson On Why Things Haven’t Worked Out As Well As Expected:
The momentum we had in NXT from 2016 to 2017 was unreal but then the back-to-back injuries really slowed things down. But you can’t dwell on things too long. We had to dust ourselves off.
Wilder On Where They Get Their In-Ring Style From:
We’ve taken influences from Japan, Canada, Texas, New York… anything that’s good. We also learned a lot from bad wrestling.
