Following a victory over Shota Umino at NJPW Dominion, IWGP United States champion Jon Moxley grabbed a microphone and announced that he would entering the G1 Climax. The tournament, which spans four weeks and two blocks, will be opening in Dallas, and is the first time it’s ever began outside of the United States.

Moxley wasn’t the only one to declare at Dominion. Los Ingobernables De Japon member Shingo Takagi, who made it to the final round of the BOSJ tournament, also entered the G1 after his victory over legend Satoshi Kojima.
