While responding to a fan on Twitter, the Natural Dustin Rhodes stated that Vince Russo brought out the best in him during his WWE Attitude Era run as Goldust, and that he will continue to put him over for doing so.

On a separate thread, Vince Russo responded by praising Rhodes for his work, even calling Goldust the greatest portrayal of a character he’s ever had the privilege of working with. Russo is sure to mention that Rhodes did most of the work.

NOBODY could have been Goldust but Dustin—NOBODY. In all my 28 years in the business—the greatest portrayal of ANY CHARACTER I ever had the honor and privilege of working with. To be clear—IT WAS ALL HIM.
