This second of four segments this weekend of Chair Shot Reality filmed at Squirrel Hill Sports Bar is a series of Reality Checks. Four different topics debated. Here’s some highlights of the conversations:
Josh Isenberg on if Owens vs Zayn is redundant:
Sami Zayn came in attacked Owens at Rumble. We thought those two would fight for the IC title at WrestleMania and that’s a big Internet marks match, like 90 percent of people watching, and that’s a big match for them. They didn’t get that. They got a ladder match with other guys involved. It’s not redundant because Owens versus Zayn hasn’t hit their peak. I think this is still fresh to the casual fans and both guys have a lot to offer.
Justin LaBar on if WWE having 2 PPV’s a month is a good decision:
I don’t think this is necessary. Keep it to one PPV. Let it be the one point of the month where the rosters come together. I understand a 3 hour RAW and 2 hour SmackDown all going to a 3 hour PPV is going to leave some people off. If wrestler A vs wrestler B don’t get to be featured for their story on the PPV for whatever reason, have their big culmination match on your weekly show. God forbid if there was a title change or some meaningful first time match on RAW or SmackDown.
The Wyatt Family feuding with New Day and Natalya turning heel is also discussed. Watch the full video below:
