Eve Torres was interviewed while backstage at Raw Reunion this past Monday. During the interview, she discussed her new role teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, what it was like to be backstage with the WWE again and more. Here are the highlights:

On Coming Back To Raw:

Imagine if you went back to high school and all of the classrooms are the same and your locker was in the same place and the same people were there kinda-sort of. That’s kind of how it feels. It’s weird, you get back in and you’re like “Alright, do I need to put the gear on, am I ready for a match?” then I remember “No, I’m just visiting.” It’s really fun, it’s so great to connect to a lot of lifelong friends I met in WWE.

On If She Got To Speak With The Newer Wrestlers:

A little bit. I’ve had the privilege of working with a lot of the newer talent at the performance center. I got to teach a lot of them some jiu-jitsu and some women’s self-defense. So I know a lot of the faces and I got to meet them a little bit.

On Teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu:

A lot of people say that makes sense. I was a wrestler and now I teach jiu-jitsu, but they’re obviously different in many ways. However, they do kind of translate. I would say that the one thing I miss obviously is the in-ring action. The closest I get to that is being able to teach big groups of women and leading them down the path towards empowerment.
