On the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer confirms that the brand extension will remain the way it is now. He does predict that we may see some tweaks in the rosters we have now, but the rosters we have right now will still be the same when the show makes its way onto Fox.
The idea is to have RAW and Smackdown be presented as two completely different shows, with Paul Heyman over RAW and Eric Bischoff over Smackdown. They will feature their own presentations, wrestlers, and storylines with as little crossovers as possible. We may see a few wrestlers traded between the brands to even star power out between the two networks, but there are no plans for a full draft at this time.
However, as we would all assume, if Smackdown’s ratings are bad we may see a change to all that with WWE sending over RAW wrestlers to Smackdown.
