Drew McIntyre claims the WWE is making him post a video via Twitter to proclaim his innocence of the Roman Reigns incident. The video shows a balance of fun while still maintaining Drew’s cocky brute gimmick.

This video is a response to the WWE’s ongoing storyline with Roman Reigns. He was set to do an interview backstage on last week’s Smackdown, however, at the last second a piece of the scaffold comedically tipped over on top of him. WWE has given us updated pieces to the story such as wrestlers’ alibies and mystery forklifts.
As noted, Dave Meltzer believes this is all leading to a match between Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan at SummerSlam somehow. We haven’t found any other source confirming this speculation. This angle feels unusually rushed with Daniel Bryan being left off TV for the past few weeks. There is only one week left until SummerSlam on August 11th.
