As noted, the trash-talk between Charlotte Flair and Trish Stratus has continued on social media this weekend as part of the build-up to their match at this month’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view.
Things started when Charlotte Flair posted “9-7,” referring to the number of title reigns each WWE Superstar has held during their respective careers.
This led to the WWE Hall Of Famer to respond by questioning if all of Charlotte’s title reigns really count if she only held the title for a week during some of the reigns.
Later Saturday evening, “The Queen of All Eras” took to Twitter again to respond to the Toronto-native.
“Are you really comparing the women of your era to the deepest women’s division that has ever existed,” wrote Charlotte Flair. “This is the greatest era of women’s wrestling, and I am the best of this era (and it’s not even close).”
The WWE legend who always guarantees fans “Stratusfaction” with every outing didn’t take long to reply once again.
In response to Flair, “The Queen of Queens” wrote, “I took my titles from legends & Hall of Famers-not exactly the shabbiest era #GoldenEra. I beat whoever they put in front of me, and since you inserted yourself in front of me – after next Sunday, that list will include you.”
Check out their latest back-and-forth exchange as the dreaded “Twitter War” between Charlotte Flair and Trish Stratus continues below.
