The Miz was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live this week. During the appearance, the topic of him being replaced by Goldberg at Summerslam was brought up. The Miz revealed that he isn’t upset about not having a match and gave his reasoning. Here’s what he had to say:

He (Ziggler) has been talking a lot of smack to Goldberg. I thought I’d give the kid a chance. I figured I’ll have so many opportunities at Summerslam and Goldberg, this might be his last.

I will be at Summerslam and I will make an impact. Anything I do, it doesn’t matter if it is a match, a promo if it is just a little small thing. I guarantee I will be the talk of Summerslam.
