Kay Lee Ray defeated Toni Storm to become the new NXT United Kingdom women’s champion at today’s Takeover Cardiff event from Wales. The story going into the match was that Ray berated Storm for changing for the worse, even claiming that her father abandoned her because of her attitude. After a brutal back and forth that saw both women kick out of each other’s finishers, Ray landed a final Gory Bomb to win by pinfall.
