As we’ve noted, it was reported this week via PWInsider and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, that former WWE Superstar John Morrison (John Hennigan aka Johnny Mundo, Johnny Impact) has signed a deal to return to the company.

The former WWE Intercontinental Champion issued his first public comments on the reports earlier today, responding to a link from PWInsider to their original report.

He wrote, “Thanks for the heads up @PWInsidercom [laugh emoji] please lemme know when I’m signed with AEW- or ROH”

There’s still no word yet on specifics of Morrison’s return, including where he will be working and when he will be back, but stay tuned as we will keep you updated.
