– AEW referee Aubrey Edwards took to Twitter this week and commented on how she and WWE NXT referee Jessika Carr called the main events of this week’s NXT and AEW Dynamite episodes.

“There were two wrestling shows on TV tonight. Both had women reffing the main event. How friggin’ awesome is that? Congrats, @WWELadyRefJess. I love seeing all the women in this business killin’ it,” Edwards wrote.

Carr did not respond but she did re-tweet another comment from Edwards that said, “Women supporting women. It’s the only way to be”
