The original plan was to move Shayna Baszler up to the “main roster,” but that was before NXT was moved to the USA Network. NXT is being branded as part of the main roster now, so plans to move her have been scrapped. Baszler was in a for a big push on Raw or Smackdown that would have seen her being one of the top players in the Women’s division.
Prior to their move to the USA Network, NXT was not making any money. Talent could not be paid the same they could on Raw or Smackdown. Now that NXT has a television deal they can afford to pay their top wrestlers more money, so moving to the other brands isn’t as big of a deal.
