The Skinny Post: Hard Knocks with the New York Giants looks … interesting? | SBNation.com
Seriously though, while this is the New York Giants this is a type of Hard Knocks that we have never seen before. That in and of itself makes it interesting.
In the clip we get to see the Giants talking to Saquon Barkley in what we know is a conversation that ultimately leads to him joining the Philadelphia Eagles. I’m intrigued.
Unlike the traditional versions of HK, this one has the answer totally and completely known, so that we can reverse trace everything back and forth is a dynamic that I am here for.

Simms and LT trading barbs. Eli making fun of Snee not blocking anyone. Tuck trying to stomp Strahan out. It was quite a night for the Giants franchise, including valuable lessons about teammates and winning for this year’s team. The memories recalled at the meeting of Giants legends is a dynamic the Giants of today need to consider.

2. Lawrence Taylor. The title of best pass rusher of all time is basically a coin flip between Lawrence Taylor and Reggie White. Taylor revolutionized the outside linebacker position, proving to be far too explosive and violent to be contained. He was transcendent, and the fact that he ranks ninth all-time in sacks shouldn’t undermine his impact on the game.
Although he didn’t have the longevity of some peers, totaling 18 sacks in his final three seasons before retiring at 34, Taylor’s peak might be the best we’ve ever seen from any position.
