– Above in the video above, Alberto El Patron spoke to TMZ Sports while doing publicity for MMA organization Combate Americas. In the interview, El Patron was asked if he would be returning to WWE.
On If He Would Be Returning To WWE:
“I left that place and I don’t have any interest in going back,” El Patron said. He added that if he were to try his hand at MMA again, it would be for Combate Americas.
As noted, Paige was cleared to return to action in September and has been training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.
On When His Fiancee Paige Would Be Returning To WWE:
“She’s getting ready [to return to WWE],” El Patron said. “She’s in Orlando at the moment. She’s been there for the last six weeks.”
El Patron noted that she will be returning “pretty soon.”
“It’s going to happen pretty soon,” El Patron said. “I cannot give you any more details because I will get her in trouble. They told her to lay low and not to talk too much about it.
“She’s probably days away from going back to WWE and [doing] something in the ring.”
