Luke Sanders has a new opponent for UFC Fresno. With Bryan Caraway sidelined due to an injury, Sanders will now take on Andre Soukhamthath on Dec. 9, the promotion announced.
Soukhamthath (11-5) is looking for his first UFC win after losing back-to-back split decisions against Alejandro Perez and Albert Morales earlier this year. He signed with the company after scoring three knockouts in a row in the regional circuit, winning and defending the CES bantamweight title.
Sanders (11-1) will attempt to get back on track after suffering his first MMA loss in March, a second-round submission defeat to Iuri Alcantara. Sanders, who submitted Maximo Blanco in his Octagon back debut in 2016, held the RFA bantamweight title before joining the UFC.
