One topic of discussion coming out of this week’s WWE SmackDown was how good the closing segment with WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg was. This was the first blue brand appearance for Goldberg.
Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Live that Goldberg’s deal with WWE allows him to do his own promos. Last night’s SmackDown lines were not scripted for the WWE Legend.
Goldberg’s promo ended with a face-off with The Undertaker. The two will do battle for the first-time ever at WWE Super ShowDown on Friday in Saudi Arabia.
