As seen throughout the weekend, WWE has been having some fun with the WWE 24/7 Championship changing hands on multiple occasions.

Apparently the fun-spirited segments that have been dropping from FOX events / shows was the brainchild of a pair of WWE agents / producers.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com is reporting that the idea for the title changes throughout the weekend in Los Angeles, California came from longtime WWE agent / produce Bruce Prichard, as well as WWE agent and former NWA World’s Heavyweight Champion Adam Pearce.

For those who missed it, Elias dropped the WWE 24/7 title to R-Truth at a FOX public event, who dropped it to FOX Sports analyst Rob Stone on the set of a TV show, who ultimately dropped it right back to Elias on the same set.
