It looks like Dolph Ziggler may be taking more time away from WWE after his match with WWE Champion Kofi Kingston at WWE Super ShowDown on Friday.
It was noted by Bryan Alvarez on today’s Wrestling Observer Live that Ziggler is believed to be taking more time off after Friday’s match.
Ziggler had been on a hiatus from WWE for several months, until he got the call to return last month to build to the Super ShowDown match with Kofi. As we’ve noted, Kevin Owens was originally scheduled to challenge Kofi at Super ShowDown, but he turned down the return trip to Saudi Arabia.
Plans could always change and WWE could keep Ziggler around for another feud, but he had been focusing on his stand-up comedy career and could go back to booking dates for his tour after Super ShowDown. Ziggler is still listed on WWE’s RAW roster, despite the blue brand feud he’s been working with Kofi.
