Becky Lynch is back at it on Twitter, and once again her targets are Edge and Beth Phoenix. It started tame enough with Beth Phoenix posting a meme that discussed how it feels when she tells her kids to go to bed and her husband allows them to stay up for a longer period of time.
Becky replied to the meme by telling them that one or both of them needed to come out from the retirement home that they are living in. Edge didn’t take too kindly to her comment and responded by telling her that she should have learned her lesson from the last time that they sparred on Twitter, implied that her and her “boy toy” Seth Rollins must be bored with creative, and that while he is certain they would make Raw better, if Becky was as good as she thinks she is she wouldn’t need them to return.
Becky was quick to reply by asking if Beth could speak for herself, then answering her own question by stating that based on her NXT commentary, the answer was no. This brought Beth into the conversation, as she replied by telling Becky that while she will continue to improve on commentary, no amount of improvement will lead to Becky being able to lace her boots.
From there the conversation derailed into a back and forth between Beth and Lynch about the appeal of their significant others and what they would do to each other if they got in the ring together. It seemed that the issue was starting to ease when Edge through gasoline on the fire by telling Becky that he is bored by her matches and that her nickname should be the “ratings juggernaut”.
Becky appears to have had the last laugh though. Her response was that he must be have her confused with another red-head that he has been involved with – an obvious reference to his affair and relationship with Lita.
