The fifth weapon on our list has a 0% drop rate on all maps and can only be obtained from the airdrop. It’s the AUG A3, one of the most recognized weapons in BGMI. This assault rifle uses 5.66mm ammunition and is one of the most effective weapons in the game in long—to medium-range engagements. Due to the weapon only being obtained by airdrops, it’s one of the rarest guns in the game.

Similar to other assault rifles in BGMI, the AUG A3 has a regular magazine size of 30 bullets, and with an attachment, it goes to 40 bullets. A headshot with this weapon will cause 101 damage to an opponent without any armor. Ideally, the best scope to use with this assault rifle is the 6x scope. A major drawback of the AUG A3 is that its reload time is quite long compared to other assault rifles in the game.

Finally, we have come to the top 4 assault rifles within BGMI. Starting off, we have the Beryl M762. The Beryl M762 is a weapon which is present in the uncommon rarity tier in the game. It uses 7.62mm bullets with a regular magazine size of 30. With an extension, it has an extended magazine of 40 bullets with a reload time of 3 seconds. This is the first weapon on the list with three firing modes. They are single, burst, and auto.

The Beryl M762 has a base damage of 44. A headshot with this weapon will cause 110 damage to an opponent without any armor within 10 meters. At 100 meters, a headshot will cause 104 damage to opponents. One must note that the major downside of this weapon is that it has a higher recoil than other assault rifles. Sadly, the recoil cannot be reduced by attaching the foregrips.

3) AKM

BGMI Assault Rifle

The AKM is also in the uncommon rarity class in BGMI. Similar to the MK47 Mutant, this weapon has two firing modes, single and auto. A headshot with this weapon will cause 115 damage to an opponent without any armor within 10 meters. This is one of the highest amounts of damage output by a single gun in BGMI for a headshot other than a sniper rifle. It can only accept attachments in the extended magazine, muzzle, and Scopes.

To use the AKM assault rifle at its highest potential in BGMI, players could use the 4x or 6x scope. This weapon is also valuable for short or mid-range battles in single-shot mode. The AKM uses the 7.62mm ammo and has a regular magazine size of 30 bullets which can go to 40 bullets with an attachment. The AKM will deal the highest amount of damage within 50 meters. Beyond that distance, the damage output will continually decrease to 290 meters in BGMI.

2) Groza

BGMI Assault Rifle

This was a close call between the two weapons because they are meta-defining in BGMI. It has been seen that many professional players select either of the top 2 as their go-to Assault Rifles in BGMI. In the second spot, there is none other than the Groza. It uses the 7.62mm bullets in BGMI as its primary bullet type. The Groza is another weapon similar to the AUG A3 in the rare category and only available through the airdrop.

It has an initial bullet speed of over 715 m/s with two firing modes, single and auto. Furthermore, the magazine has a size of 30 bullets but with an extension, can go up to 40 bullets. One must note that a headshot with the Groza assault rifle in BGMI will cause a damage output of 110 HP to an opponent without any armor within 10 meters.

Some drawbacks concerning the Groza are its inability to accept foregrips as an attachment and no telescopic sights, which are more than a 6x scope. Due to this, it cannot be used for long-range duels. The fact that the only muzzle attachment it can use is the muzzle just adds to the minor drawback of this powerful weapon in BGMI.

1) M416

BGMI Assault Rifle

Currently, the best assault rifle in BGMI is the M416. This weapon also has some of the best skins available within BGMI. While having an initial bullet speed of 780 m/s, this weapon takes 2.4 seconds to reload. The gun is quite similar to the Scar-L but has a faster rate of fire at 0.086s per bullet. It only has two bullet firing modes, single and auto.

Its strong suit is that it can accept the most attachments compared to any assault rifle within the game. This includes muzzle, magazine, stock, and lower and upper rail attachments.

A fully modified M416 assault rifle in BGMI is the most sought-after due to its low recoil during auto-firing mode with the 5.56mm bullets. It has a base damage of 40 HP, but a headshot to an opponent without a helmet would deal with 94 HP. The M416 will deal the most damage out to 60 meters, with damage reaching a minimum amount at 445 meters.

Thus, this weapon is feasible in short or medium-range duels with a 4x scope.
