During a recent interview with The Hannibal TV, “Superstar” Billy Graham absolutely tore into Ronda Rousey and the main event of Wrestlemania 35. He believes that Rousey, despite being pushed incredibly hard, was not at all over. He also took issue with the idea that the WWE was referring to her as the greatest female MMA fighter ever. As for the Wrestlemania 35 main event, Graham had less than flattering remarks on the quality of the match, referring to it as “horrible”. Here are the highlights:

On Why The Wrestlemania 35 Triple Threat Shouldn’t Have Been The Main Event:

I don’t believe that it would have been like the old school pay-per-views that did tremendous business, because Ronda Rousey was not really over, she was pushed more than any other human being, female or male, in the history of the WWE. She had the biggest push of anyone in the history of that company, and still was not over. You cannot convince me that she would have sold one ticket.

On The Match Itself:

It was a horrible match. I saw highlights of it, but it was a perfect opportunity for Vince to use those three girls…because of Rousey’s UFC past, even though she got her ass kicked in those last two fights.

On The Legitimacy Of Rousey’s MMA Career:

You cannot tell me she’s the greatest UFC female fighter ever, when you lose your last two by such horrific short-time knockouts. And then you cry in the ring like a child…she sat there and wept in the ring like a baby, and then said that she was going to commit suicide over the loss. This woman is such a mental case, that I don’t know how she made it through an entire 12 months, from the first Mania to the next.
