With Hulk Hogan officially out as one of the judges on “Tough Enough” following his controversial racial comments, WWE begins its search for his replacement.
PWInsider.com recently reported that 16-time World Champion and two-time Hall of Famer, “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair, is the front-runner to land the gig. The company is also considering The Miz, current host Chris Jericho, and “Hardcore Legend” Mick Foley.
An exclusive report from the team at Wrestlezone.com notes that Bret “The Hitman” Hart is meeting with Vince McMahon to discuss taking over for Hogan, with there being a “strong possibility” he’ll get the job.
“Tough Enough” wasn’t the only outlet WWE has eliminated Hogan from, as it appears that nearly every tie has been severed following the release of his comments. “The Immortal One” is no longer featured on WWE.com, while all products from WWEShop.com with his name have been pulled from the online store.
As noted, Hogan has also been cut from the roster of the upcoming WWE “2K16″ video game, which will feature the largest number of playable characters in the series’ history.
